In late July of 2022, I went to Chamonix, France, to join a community of climate change writers, all working on personal projects around this grave yet hopeful topic. It was a week-long retreat to meditate in the French Alps, get inspired, and pour my whole heart into this blog. The following trilogy of essays are about a topic I have always wanted to dive deep into — how to use decolonization and grief as catalysts for environmental justice.
